EastEnders is heading into a full-on battle for The Queen Vic, and it is about to get personal. Now that the iconic pub’s up for grabs, one familiar face makes a bold move. But Walford is not exactly ready to welcome him with open arms. Keep scrolling to know more.
Pub War Kicks Off As Ian Beale Makes His Move
Linda Carter’s decision to sell The Vic has already shaken things up. But this week, it gets messier. She tells Kat Moon that the pub is headed to auction, and the news will spread like fire

Ian Beale does not waste a second. He tells Kathy and Harvey he is bringing the Beale name back to the top, starting with the Vic. And in true Ian fashion, the power rush hits fast. He starts throwing his weight around, but Kat and Stacey are not having it.
Meanwhile, Jean Slater stresses over her job at the pub. Her history with Kathy, especially after everything with Harvey, is still raw. And that is all the reason Kat and Stacey need to jump in.
Stacey Makes A Bold Counter
Ian’s all set to dominate the auction until Stacey drops a surprise. She claims she has just won £100,000 on a scratchcard and says she is bidding too. Ian does not buy it, but it rattles him all the same.
Is she telling the truth? That’s anyone’s guess. But signs point to Kat coming out on top. Word is, she’s about to reclaim her spot as the Queen of The Vic.

She last ran the pub with Alfie Moon between 2010 and 2013. Ian had his moment behind the bar in 2020 when he moved in with Sharon Watts. That ended in total chaos. Remember the poisoned Christmas pudding? Sharon nearly took him out and ended up driving him out of Walford.
Right now, Linda co-owns the place with her mum, Elaine, after Mick’s disappearance. But with old rivalries back on the table, The Vic could be heading into its most explosive chapter yet. For more EastEnders spoilers and updates, follow Soap Opera Daily.
